Nature Photography

Nature photography is a genre which I never previously connected myself with.

It requires knowledge of the subject and where and when to capture. A great deal of patience and practice is certainly needed. Some friendly expert guidance is certainly a great help to which I received in abundance from the Aperture Photography Group.

I will update the images here on a regular basis.

Everyone loves a Robin. This one was seen at Brandon Marsh.

Taken from The Boston Belle on the Wash, Lincolnshire.

When I started to get into wildlife I didn’t want it to be just a record image of the animal but also a picture of it within their environment. This Duck was photographed at Brandon Marsh and I enjoyed seeing the ever decreasing circles it was producing on the water.

Also shot at Brandon Marsh, this image was about the reflections in the lake and the interaction between the two birds.

The Heron is a beautiful yet almost prehistoric looking bird although maybe not your favorite species if you own ornamental fish such as Koi Carp! This picture was captured from The Boston Belle on The Wash, Lincolnshire.

Bradgate Park in Leicestershire is renowned for its Deer especially in the Rutting season which I hope to capture this year.

This lovely Red Squirrel was photographed on National Trust Brownsea Island.

Owl photography taken on a days workshop shoot with Danny Green in one of 2026s many heatwave days.
